Artist Statement

There is a direct correlation between my artwork and
my years in manufacturing. I feel comfortable with the machinery and equipment that I use to construct my sculpture. The process transfers an inner calmness I feel to emerge in the work. When each piece is finished it not only creates visual excitement, but also to the touch evokes a sensual response. Each piece beckons this personal contact, which is an added requirement to be understood. Evolution in my art, not revolution, provides the continuum that allows an outward expression of my thoughts and emotions through my work.
